Our specially designed augers are the perfect piece of equipment for moving large volumes of grain and other bulk materials from ground level to heights of up to 40 feet. An added useful feature of this machine is its ability to be driven by tractor hydraulics, where the flow is no less than 14 gallons per minute.

  • Description

    This bin has been designed with safety and easy operation from the Ute driver’s seat.  It has a retractable handle on the driver’s side only, to operate the 2 slides.  The retractable handle makes it possible to open and close the driver’s door without obstruction when the handle is retracted.  The 2 slides can be operated individually by removing the locking pin which makes both slides operate together.

  • Features

    It is light and solidly built for rugged conditions.  The bin is all galvanised with Duragal legs and base frame.  There are lifting rods across the four corners of the bin to hook chains to lift it from the ute.  Feeding slides can be operated together or individually.  The bin is equally balanced so the load is equally distributed on the ute.

  • Safe operating procedure

    This bin has lifting points in each of the four top corners to lift from, with a winch or pulley block.  Once the bin is placed on the Ute tray, use appropriate methods of fixing.  When placing on the tray, make sure the retractable handle is on the driver’s side of the Ute.  The bin is now ready to be fitted.  If operating on level ground, you can choose to unload from one side at a time.  If on slopping ground, it is advised to unload evenly so you don’t tip the Ute over.

2.5 Ton Trailing Feed Out Bin With Auger And Without Auger

  • All galvanised construction.
  • Measurements of bin 1.800m wide x 2.000m long x 2.100m.
  • 4 cum capacity sheep nuts @ 0.620kg per cum = 2.5ton.
  • 4 cum capacity wheat @ 0.750kg per cum = 3ton.
  • Dimension of trailer 2.020m wide x 3.600m x 2.700m overall height.
  • Heavy duty axle with heavy duty bearings.
  • Springs are heavy duty rocker roller 2.5ton.
  • Wheels are 7.50/16 Toyota or 255/70R16 (others are optional but can adjust overall width).
  • Coupling 50 m ball type standard (others optional).
  • Brakes where requested override coupling or electric.
  • Lights are standard (unless not required).
  • Slide motor 12 volt linear actuator.
  • Auger is 6” folding and driven with a 6.5 HP Honda motor with clutch and 2 to 1 reduction box.
  • 90 deg gear box needs topping only if seals leak, this needs to be unbolted to fill.
  • Keep all belt guards in place for your safety as well as others.
  • Remote Control unit for the slide is radio operated, control unit has an up & down, press once the unit will travel all the way fully open or fully closed. To stop the slide say 50mm open press the up button a second time it will stop in that position, then to close it push the opposite button once and it will go all the way closed, not standard on auger bin.

  • Description

    This bin has been designed with safety and easy operation from the Ute driver’s seat.  The filling hatch is operated from ground level with the swinging handle on the right hand side.  The outlet slide is operated by electric control, either plugged into the cigarette lighter socket or permanently wired in with a break away plug at the tow ball.

  • Features

    The 2.5 ton trailer bin is on a heavy duty Duragal RHS chassis with tandem land cruiser wheels.  The axles are heavy duty with heavy duty wheel bearings suited for station work.

  • Safe operating procedure

    This bin needs to be coupled to the tow bar securely.  The remote slide operating cable needs placing to the cab and plugged into the cigarette light socket only, if Ute is not permanently wired to do this job.  This will also apply if an auger is fitted to the bin for filling feeders on the move.  The bin is equipped with a handle to roll back the top hatch.  There is also a ladder to the rear of this bin so you can see the level of feed when filling.  Please use this in a respectable manner as misuse can cause twisted ankles, broken legs etc. when jumping or rushing about your job.  When the bin is filled, always close the top hatch lid.  Don’t drive with the lid open.


    The bin and supports are all galvanised with a roll back lid over the filling hatch.  This bin has also been set up for auger out load without moving legs or stays to fit an auger.  The bottom slide is operated by 12 volt remote control from the Ute cab.

  • Features

    All of the above features with the addition of an unloading auger to fill feeders.  The auger is driven by a 6.5 HP Honda motor, with a clutch and reduction box no slipping belts.  The auger breaks and folds for minimal width.

Product Warranty

Leske Engineering Feed out Bins are warranted against all defects in material and workmanship, including all parts and accessories supplied with them as original equipment by the factory. This warranty is in force to the original user only for a period of 12 months. Failure due to abuse or abnormal use, is not covered.


Leske Engineering will replace, without charge, any original part that is returned to the factory and found to be defective under warranty terms. Transportation costs in making replacement are not covered in this warranty.


Leske Engineering makes no warranty to parts adjusted or manufactured by other manufacturers. Neither will the business be liable for any delay caused by defects for consequential damages or for charges or expenses of any part which has been repaired or altered outside of our own factory.



This warranty is effective to the original purchaser only.
